Royal Doulton - Stoneware Figure Of Sam Weller By Leslie Harradine
Welcome to my auction of a Rare Royal Doulton Stoneware Figure - "Sam Weller" modelled by Leslie Harradine and issued in 1912.
It is fully marked to the base as shown complete with the incised initials for Leslie Harradine.
These were the first models that Harradine designed for Doulton.
It measures 8 3/4 inches or 220mm tall.
It is in very good condition overall there is one small chip to the underside as shown in the photographs, it does not show on display. For completeness there is a small manufacturing flaw to the base also.
